Some days I feel like such a hypocrite.
I tell my oldest son over and over to get off of his electronics...
That his time is up.
And many times I have to repeat myself over and over.
Yet, I have no time restrictions in place for myself.
I am surprised that he hasn't made the connection yet...
That he hasn't chastised me for all of the extra time I spend on my electronics.

That is a hard one for sure. Not sure how I would deal with that. Maybe limit my use while my kids are awake and do most of my electronic use after they go to bed?

ReplyDeleteI know what you mean! Today on the subway my son was asking for my phone to play his games since I didn't bring the iPad. I told him to wait as he's too much with his electronics as I reach my for my phone checking Twitter and Facebook updates :/
ReplyDeleteI think you're the adult and you should get to use your devices as much as you like. Of course, if you are constantly shushing the kids while you're playing Angry Birds, you may want to re-evaluate things ;D
